A fleet-wide color change fails in one of two ways: the operation runs short of vehicles, or the units don’t match each other. Both are avoidable.
Lock the color first. One verified formula, sprayed from the same specification on every unit, checked instrumentally rather than by eye. Brand colors specified as a print reference need translating to a paint formula deliberately — not approximated.
Sequence, don’t surge. Taking a few units at a time keeps the fleet working. It takes longer on the calendar and costs less in lost capacity.
Decide livery early. Whether graphics are reproduced, updated or replaced changes the prep. Doing that thinking after the first units are painted means reworking them.
Do the first unit as a pilot. Approve it in daylight, then treat it as the standard for everything that follows.
